       SHORT NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

 

Sealed item rate tender on the prescribed form obtainable from the Executive Engineer(C), Punjab Police Housing Corporation, Mansa at SAS Nagar, Kothi No.78, Phase-IX, SAS Nagar/Reception Counter of PPHC on cash payment of Rs.1000/- are invited from the Registered Contractors of appropriate Class of PWD (B&R) Branch/Public Health Branch /P.S.E.B. /Railways /C.P.W.D. /M.E.S./ PUDA / Panchayati Raj and Chandigarh Administration so as to reach in the office of the  Executive Engineer(C), Mansa at SAS Nagar on 10.09.10 up to 3.00 P.M. and will be opened by them at 3.30 P.M. in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who may like to be present:

Design and Construction of 50000 Ltrs.(11000 gls) capacity columns type RCC Overhead Service Reservoir with a height 70 feet (21.34 mtr.) upto FSL and with sill of Bottom Slab upto 60 feet (18.29 mtr.) above ground level including  providing & fixing C.I. D/F Pipes and Specials at District Jail, Mansa. This OHSR will also be used as watch tower and has special design of stair case alongwith contingent works thereto.

CONDITIONS:

1.         Earnest Money shall be furnished only in the shape of Deposit-at-Call or Bank Draft in favour of Punjab Police Housing Corporation Ltd., payable at Chandigarh.

2.         If the date of opening of tenders happens to be a holiday then the tenders will be opened on the next working day.

3.         The Tenders shall be valid for 90 days from date of opening of Tenders.

4.         The agency must have executed at least one similar work of 50% value in the previous two years. Tenders without eligibility documents i.e. Valid Enlistment, proof of previous experience as above, will be rejected and earnest money may be forfeited.

5.         Conditional/Telegraphic / Imbalanced Tenders will not be accepted.

6.         Contractors should have a valid VAT/TIN No. as per Punjab VAT ACT-2005.

7.         The DNIT shall be issued upto 12.15 P.M. on the date of opening of tenders.

8.         M.D., PPHC reserves the right to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.

9.      The DNIT shall be issued upto 12.15 P.M. on the date of opening of tenders.

10.  The Income Tax/ VAT/ labour cess as applicable will be deducted from contractor’s bill as per the instructions of the Govt.
